¡¡¡¡Abstract£º¡¡The expression of reactive oxygen/nitrogen species(ROS/RNS) elevated during the progressive period of varies disease including cancer, ischemia reperfusion injury and some inflammatory disease or neurodegenerative disease, et al. During the pathophysiologic process, excessive produced O2-and NO could react to form ONOO-, a stronger oxidative molecule, which induce the modification of tyrosine to form 3-nitro tyrosine. After protein nitration,the structure and function of proteins may be changed to induce the mitochondrial and DNA injury and further cell apoptosis and necroptosis, which facilitating the disease progression. Here we reviewed the relationship between protein tyrosine nitration and related disease, which may provide foundations for further clinical studies.
