如何探测宇宙引力波(4)

  引力波的发现是对广义相对论预言的验证,为进一步在宇宙学尺度和强引力场验证广义相对论提供了可能,同时打开了探索宇宙的新窗口。未来的引力波实验将引领人类进入引力波天文学的新时代。有理由相信,这次引力波的探测仅仅是开端,未来人们将探测到大量的不同引力波源产生的引力波。这对理解宇宙的演化,大尺度结构的形成过程,和黑洞物理,甚至量子引力带来极大的帮助。
